I never got it functioning, that much I remember. I forget whether it was the same running 4.2.1 which I had done quite awhile. I had the exact same result on 2 different laptops. (I dont suppose theyre hearing me on the other end, as I didnt try saying much since I was calling the number of a recorded message to test things out.) Then looking at my account page on the voip website, it shows the call was put through and lasted over a minute. (made a voipraider account, then put the infos in. calling out to a regular phone number is a big tease. yet PSIP needs to put the map of the alphabet on the 1-9 buttons, else one is lost! however the robot lady tells you to enter the 1st 3 letters of something, i.e. the menu system could be navigated by hitting the DTMF buttons (0-9 * #). though the PSIP testing I've done is from pup431- guess I should find a way to adequately test mic functionality in 431.) is able to record my mic signal, so I know not where the problem lies.) I have tried the above, with the following disappointing results: add-buddy sip: sip:+ sip:+ /tmp/psip/app-logġ) As my current SIP provider is I searched and found at their webpage the needed details I had to use.Ģ) There are several other SIP providers with identical settings, (except for the name itself) as they all have the exactly same engine behind: etç See below my "pjsua.cfg" file after removing all lines not in use (preceeded by #): I will appreciate very much any guidance to sort this out or, if definitely not possible, a suggestion of another light GUI for our PUPPY with the capability to show the contacts stored at the SIP provider, thus independent from the condition so far here (PSIP 0.12) that contacts are stored localy at file "pjsua.cfg". The only drawback I see though, it is that I did not manage to get all those my 100plus contacts, stored at my SIP's server, that I get when accessing through the SIP's proper GUI (for RWindows). In addition, I added, three more lines at the top for the add-buddys (contacts to call): my own contact at my SIP provider, my phone number and my cellphone (these three must have the suffix or something similar of your SIP provider. I first tried configuring it via CONFIGURE/EDIT_ACCOUNT but as it did not work I went through some trial and errors directly editing file "/root/.psip/pjsua.cfg (the one you get when clicking CONFIGURE/EDIT_CONFIG_FILE in the GUI) to add the parameters for my SIP in four lines ("id sip", "register", "username" and "password". And BTW, with a very good quality without any changes in the quality/sound settings. I have managed to make "PSIP 0.12" work with my SIP provider. Anyone got a positive report about Psip and 4.3?
